Shay Neufeld

I'm a neuroscientist by training and a technology leader by profession. I've spent my career working across neuroscience, machine learning, and software, finding ways to turn science into useful products.

I currently lead software at Epia Neuro, where we're developing an implantable brain–computer interface to help people regain movement after stroke. My team builds software across embedded systems, machine learning, computer vision, robotics controls, mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure.

I particularly enjoy bringing scientists and engineers together to solve difficult problems. I'm equally interested in the human side of building companies: assembling strong teams, developing people, and creating the conditions for them to do their best work.
